From curriculum plan to classroom lesson in a few clear steps
The LTD platform keeps connected content together. Begin with the year or topic overview, open the lesson, watch the short video and download the plan and resources from the same place.
A 60 to 90-second screen recording showing the dashboard, year-group navigation, topic filters, curriculum planning, lesson page, video player, downloads, assessment and professional learning.

1. Choose a year group or topic
Browse from Reception to Year 6, search by mathematical area or use the curriculum mapping to find content linked with a particular expectation. Clear labels should help teachers distinguish planning documents, lessons, assessments and professional learning.
2. See where the lesson fits
Open the yearly overview or topic sequence to understand prior learning and the suggested order. Teachers can then follow the sequence or select a lesson that addresses an identified need.
3. Watch the short modelled video
The video gives a quick view of the lesson structure, resources and key teaching points. It is designed for preparation, not for pupils to watch in place of teaching.
4. Open the detailed plan
Read the mathematical focus, teacher background, resource list, suggested prompts and the Whole Class, Hands-On and Independent stages. Download or print in the preferred format.
5. Prepare the connected resources
Lesson-specific cards, visual models, templates and independent work should appear alongside the plan. Teachers should not need to search a second area of the site to find them.
6. Use assessment to plan next steps
Open the relevant diagnostic or concept check-up, review pupil responses and return to the lesson collection to find suitable teaching.
Show where teachers access diagnostics, check-ups or assessment resources.
