Useful resources you can take into the classroom

The free LTD library is genuinely useful. Find practical maths resources, visual models, lesson samples and professional learning that help make an idea clearer, not a set of watered-down previews.

FREE-RESOURCES-HERO-01
Free primary maths resourcesResource flat lay

A carefully arranged selection of real LTD downloads and manipulatives. Reusable resource card placeholders should include resource title, year group, topic, resource type, preview image, download status and file format.

Upload guidance: replace this placeholder with the final media. Keep the same aspect ratio and recommended filename so the page layout does not shift.

Find resources without the Sunday afternoon scroll

Filter by year group, mathematical area and resource type. Each card should explain what the resource teaches, what it includes and whether an email or free account is required.

Keep the strongest open resources easy to find. A free library builds trust when teachers can use it before being asked to buy.

Resource categories

Sample lessons: Complete lessons with video, plan, activity, printables and independent work.

Visual models: Ten-frames, number lines, part-whole models, place value charts, arrays and other practical representations.

Assessment samples: Diagnostic examples, concept check-ups and open tasks with teacher guidance.

Planning documents: Selected year-group overviews, topic progressions and curriculum mapping samples.

Masterclasses: Free recordings or live registrations on important primary maths topics.

Warm-ups and practice: Short activities for revision, fluency and mathematical discussion.

Organise by mathematical area

  • Number and place value
  • Addition and subtraction
  • Multiplication and division
  • Fractions
  • Decimals and percentages
  • Measurement
  • Geometry
  • Statistics
  • Reasoning and problem solving

Open, email-gated and free-account content

Use three access levels deliberately. Keep many practical printables open. Use email forms for larger guides or event registration. Require a free account only when it provides a better experience, such as saving lessons or accessing a wider sample collection.

State the access requirement on the resource card before the teacher clicks.

Resource card copy template

  • Resource title
  • Year group or key stage
  • Mathematical focus
  • One-sentence classroom use
  • What is included
  • File type
  • Access level

After the download

Follow up with content related to the resource, such as a short teaching tip, sample lesson or relevant masterclass. Avoid sending a hard sales sequence immediately after a teacher downloads one printable.
