Contact support
When an article does not solve the issue, provide a clear support route. Ask for the account email, page URL, browser, device, a brief description and a screenshot where appropriate.
Tell users not to include pupil names or sensitive information unless they are using an approved secure process.
Article-writing standard
- Use the user’s task as the title
- Keep steps in the order they appear on screen
- Include current screenshots
- State which account type the article applies to
- Link to the next likely task
- Show the last updated date
- Remove outdated articles rather than leaving conflicting versions
